Kids Workshop

Looking for a fun, creative activity for the kids before school starts? Send them to Cozy Clay Studio for a morning of clay, creativity, and making something all their own!

Designed for kids ages 8-13, this 3-hour hands-on experience will introduce students to the fun of working with clay through hand building. We’ll start with a fun demonstration, then kids will get to work creating their own pottery project, with plenty of time to experiment, decorate, and make it uniquely theirs.

We’ll take a snack break halfway through the morning before getting back to clay and finishing up their creations with colorful underglaze and decorative details. No pottery experience is needed! 

It’s the perfect way to spend a summer morning, meet some new friends, and get a little creative before the school year begins. Parents can drop off and enjoy some time to themselves, or they’re welcome to stay and watch.

The kids’ workshop includes:

  • 3 hours of hands-on, beginner-friendly instruction

  • Hand build a pottery project

  • All clay and materials provided

  • Decorative underglaze to personalize their creations

  • Drop-off friendly, though parents are welcome to stay and watch

  • $89/person

Additional Details

All materials are provided:

  • Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Clay comes off in the wash and is non-toxic

  • Cut your nails beforehand if possible

  • We keep pieces for 2 months from the workshop date and they will be removed from the studio after 2 months. We can ship your piece for a $20 fee, email us to arrange shipping

Cancellation Policy

Please send all cancellation requests via email: hello@cozyclaystudio.com

  • If you cancel 72 hours before the workshop, you will receive credit to book a workshop for another time

  • If you cancel less than 72 hours before the workshop, you will not be refunded
