  • Yes, there are plenty of options:

    • Walnut Street Municipal Lot: open all day, no limit, free

    • City Hall Parking Lot (10 Common Street): accessible public parking during non-business hours (please read signs).

      • Monday-Wednesday: after 4:30pm

      • Thursday: after 7pm

      • Friday: after 1pm

      • Saturday & Sunday: all day

    • Street parking: 8am-6pm 1 hour limit, free

  • We offer workshops, classes, and memberships.

    For beginners, we recommend the one-time workshop or the 8-week classes (both are beginner-friendly). Learn more about workshops here and 8-week classes here.

    For those who can work independently & have pottery experience, we recommend the monthly membership. Learn more about the studio membership here.

  • All memberships include unlimited access to the studio when the studio is open.

    Standard membership includes a bag (25 pounds) of clay per month and dedicated shelving (24" x 24”). Glazes and firings are included with studio clay.

  • Kids ages 10-16 are welcome to join any of our current workshops or classes alongside an accompanying adult.

    We're planning an independent kids' program for ages 10-16 starting as early as late July or August 2026, with a younger kids' program (ages 5-9) to follow in 2027.

  • We have:

    • 15 wheels

    • 2 electric kilns

    • Slab roller

    • Extruder

    • Basic throwing and hand building tools

    • 10+ homemade studio glazes

  • For now, we are offering:

    • White stoneware

    • Speckled brown stoneware

    • Dark brown (hazelnut) stoneware

    • Porcelain (+$20 per 25 pounds for this selection)

  • For now, outside clay is not allowed. Students and members must use clay offered by the studio.

    If you are super passionate about using a certain clay, email us and we can chat about it.

  • We will be firing to cone 6.

  • It really depends on when work is ready and if there is enough work to fill a kiln. We’ve been firing one bisque and one glaze kiln a week.

  • Yes, we have ~10 studio glazes. We are always testing to see what we like, so stay tuned!

  • Yes, you are allowed to use commercial glazes after approval using this form (to be added). This helps us keep track of what kind of commercial glazes are being used at the studio.

    You are not allowed to layer commercial glazes with studio glazes.
